Lignin is an excellent natural absorber of UV radiation with strong anti-bacterial properties. The technology of application on fabrics of finishing with nano-lignin to equip them with multifunctional properties, limits the use of chemical UV radiation absorbents and enables better utilisation of lignins, which are waste products. The finished product are natural fibre textiles designed for the manufacture of clothing protecting against the effects of strong sunlight with antibacterial and excellent hygienic properties.
